- Payment Information: When Service Providers purchase leads or services, payment details are collected and processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
- Communications: Messages, reviews, ratings, and other content you submit through the Platform.
b. Information Collected Automatically
- Device and Usage Data: Browser type, operating system, IP address, pages visited, referring URLs, time spent on pages, and clickstream data.
- Location Data: We infer your approximate location from your IP address and any location information you provide in forms to connect you with nearby Service Providers.
- Cookies and Tracking Technologies: We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to maintain sessions, analyze traffic, and deliver relevant content. See Section 6 below.
c. Information from Third Parties
- We may receive information about Service Providers from publicly available sources, including Google Reviews, to supplement profiles on the Platform.

- Monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities on the Platform.

- Between Users: When a boat owner submits a quote request, their project details and contact information are shared with matched Service Providers. Service Provider profiles are publicly visible on the Platform.
- Service Providers and Vendors: We share information with third-party companies that perform services on our behalf, including payment processing (Stripe), email delivery (Resend), SMS messaging (Twilio), cloud hosting and storage (Vercel, Amazon Web Services), and analytics (Google). These providers are contractually obligated to use your information only as necessary to provide services to us.
- Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Boatwork, our users, or others.
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or bankruptcy, your information may be transferred as a business asset.
- With Your Consent: We may share information for other purposes with your consent or at your direction.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
