Boat Repair & Maintenance in St Augustine, FL

St. Augustine's Standout Boat Repair & Maintenance Pros

Three names stand out in St. Augustine by rating and review volume. BE Electric holds a 5.0★ average across 260 reviews, the largest review count among the verified local pros. Reviewers consistently point to its work on generator hookups, electrical panel upgrades, outlet installations, and complete home rewiring, which shows a practice that handles both boat and property electrical needs.

Neptune Marine Service carries a 5.0★ average across 40 reviews, making it the second-most-reviewed top-rated pro in the market.

Premier Boat Trailer Parts & Service earns a 5.0★ average across 20 reviews. Reviewers highlight its range, from simple hub maintenance to complete axle replacements and full trailer rebuilds. For owners whose boats run on trailers, that span of work matters as much as the boat itself.

The Wider Local Field

Beyond the leaders, the St. Augustine market includes 16 verified Boat Repair & Maintenance pros, ranking as the #25 market for this specialty in Florida. Several other top-rated shops fill specific niches. H2O Yacht Services (5.0★, 12 reviews) is known for boat bottom cleaning and detailing, with customers describing vessels restored from heavy buildup and lost power. Inspired Boat Works (5.0★, 3 reviews) draws repeat clients for attention to detail, custom fabrication, and fishing cockpit modifications. Grand Slam Boats (5.0★, 2 reviews) rounds out the top-rated group.

Florida Yacht Support appears in reviews for both meticulous detailing and urgent marine repairs, with clients citing its versatility across service types.

The sub-services available across the field include anchor windlass repair, annual boat service, bilge blower motor replacement, bilge pump repair, belt and hose inspection, compass repair and calibration, gauge and instrument repair, hose and clamp replacement, oil and filter changes, and safety equipment inspection. Owners can match a specific need to a pro whose reviews speak to that work.

How the Top Pros Compare

The six top-rated pros all hold a 5.0★ average, so rating alone does not separate them. Review volume does. BE Electric leads with 260 reviews, followed by Neptune Marine Service at 40, Premier Boat Trailer Parts & Service at 20, and H2O Yacht Services at 12. Grand Slam Boats and Inspired Boat Works each have fewer than five reviews, so their ratings reflect a smaller sample.

The difference between pros is mostly in scope. BE Electric's reviews focus on electrical work, Premier's on trailer and axle work, H2O's on bottom cleaning and detailing, and Inspired Boat Works' on fabrication and custom modifications. An owner's choice depends on the job at hand.
