Fiberglass & Gelcoat Repair in Palm Beach Gardens, FL

Palm Beach Gardens's Standout Fiberglass & Gelcoat Repair Pros

Two local operators stand out in this market on both rating and review volume. Michael Rybovich & Sons Boat Works holds a 5.0★ rating across 12 reviews. Owner feedback describes a consistent pattern: the shop has built its reputation on traditional craftsmanship for custom sport fishing boats. That focus makes it a natural reference point for owners with custom or high-finish hulls.

Ocean Breeze Yachts holds a 4.8★ rating across 72 reviews, the largest review base among the verified pros here. Its volume gives owners a substantial body of feedback to weigh when comparing options.

The Wider Local Field

Palm Beach Gardens has four verified Fiberglass & Gelcoat Repair pros, which places the city at #43 among Florida markets for this specialty. Beyond the two leaders, Wellman Yacht Services and Gillen Yacht Services are also listed locally. Neither has received reviews yet, so their rating shows 0.0★ on a count of zero. That reflects a lack of feedback, not a measured performance level, and owners looking at these two should treat them as unrated.

The local field covers a broad range of deck and surface work. Listed sub-services include deck leak diagnosis, deck repair and refinishing, full deck replacement and installation, deck resurfacing, and deck waterproofing. Owners also commonly search for fiberglass crack repair, non-skid restoration, peeling non-skid fixes, and soft spot repair in fiberglass decks. Not every pro in the market is documented for every task, so matching a specific job to a specific shop is worth confirming directly.

How the Top Pros Compare

The two rated leaders differ mainly in scale of feedback. Michael Rybovich & Sons Boat Works has the higher rating at 5.0★, based on 12 reviews. Ocean Breeze Yachts has a 4.8★ rating based on 72 reviews. Taken together, the two rated pros account for the market's 84 reviews and the 4.8 average rating.

The comparison is therefore a trade-off between a perfect score on a smaller sample and a slightly lower score on a much larger one. Owners with a custom sport fishing project may find the traditional craftsmanship focus especially relevant. Owners who want a broader base of past customer feedback may weigh Ocean Breeze Yachts' review volume more heavily.
