Rigging & Sail Services in Fort Lauderdale, FL

A Strong Local Track Record

Fort Lauderdale is the #1 Rigging & Sail Services market in Florida, with 5 verified pros listed. Four of them have review histories, and together those pros account for 186 owner reviews. Weighted by review count, the market rating works out to 4.7.

The weighting matters because the pros do not carry equal numbers of reviews. Multitech Marine Services holds 106 of the 186 reviews, so it anchors the aggregate with a 4.5 rating. Supreme Marine (12 reviews), J.c Marine Service & Fabrication (33) and Inshore Marine Specialties (35) hold the market's highest ratings, between 4.9 and 5.0. A 4.7 that combines one high-volume pro with several near-perfect, smaller-volume pros suggests consistency across the market, not a result carried by a single outlier.

The volume also gives an owner something to read. With 186 reviews across four rated pros, there is enough feedback to compare how each one is described, not just how it is scored.

What Owners Consistently Report

The review summaries for these pros share a few themes. Several of them concern breadth of capability rather than a single narrow task.

- Complex, technical projects. Supreme Marine's reviews credit Troy and his team with expertise on performance boats and complex marine projects. - Workmanship that exceeds expectations. J.c Marine Service & Fabrication's reviews single out custom stainless steel fabrication, including solar arches, as work that consistently exceeds what owners expected. - Versatility. One pro's reviews describe a range that runs from simple trolling motor repairs to complete boat rewiring. - Handling difficult situations. Multitech Marine Services' reviews describe work on manufacturer warranty claims, coral-damaged catamarans and marine electronics glitches.

The summaries lean toward fabrication, repair and systems work more than toward rigging specifically. Owners with a rigging job should read the full reviews for the pro they are considering. The services these pros handle include:

- Backstay replacement - Block and tackle replacement - Boom replacement - Boom vang installation - Broken shroud repair - Forestay replacement - Headsail repair - Hurricane rigging preparation - Mainsail repair - Mast stepping service
